Now this is a story all about how a sitcom exterior ended up fifteen minutes from Bel-Air. The Banks family mansion in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was filmed on this 1937 Georgian Colonial in Brentwood Park, not in Bel-Air. Interiors were a soundstage; the driveway, columns, and second-story windows are the real thing. Tour buses have been rolling past since 1990. In January 2026 the house listed for $29.5 million — the first time in fifty years it had been offered for sale. Built for a private family, it became one of the most recognized houses on American television.
